Founder and Owner of The Body Support Center, Scott is a Licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist & Health Educator having graduated from the National Holistic Institute.
Scott makes use of his training, athletic background and natural caring nature to assess and truly bond with his clients. This allows Scott to create a program that is realistic, appropriate and feels & shows results. Scott specializes in the following Massage Therapy modalities:

Scott Shinick grew up on Long Island, NY and began playing competitive soccer & baseball at an early age. After a lower back and neck injury which required surgeries, Scott began rehabilitation along with fitness training program which included Plyometrics, Cardio, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Sambo. Scott quickly realized that incorporating stretching, body movemnet, cardiovascular and performance drills along with massage therapy relieved his pain and discomfort. Continued treatment has proven successful as Scott still competes in Grappling Events, Boxing, MMA & local Soccer matches. Some of Scott’s accomplishments include:

Illinois native, Ashley Shinick was born and raised in a health and fitness conscience household. From an early age Ashley participated in several physical activities including horseback riding, competitive swimming and Hapkido. She soon found out her love for theater, dance and performing was her passion. Ashley studied theater in high school at The Chicago Academy for the Arts and graduated with a BFA from Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in dance. Since then she has flexed “other muscles” training and finishing the 2012 Chicago Marathon, completing multiple Bikram Yoga 30 day challenges and receiving her Personal Trainging Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Ashley enjoys mixing up her workout routine from circuit training to spinning, Pilates and cycling. You can always count on her for a fun yet challenging class.
